::light cry in the distance:: "Mike Schenck!"
I have been looking over my shoulder often for the last 16 hours. Why? because I was in the Wimbley theater at the BCA last night getting ready for the second act of Christopher Durang's Laughing Wild (starrring Christopher Durang) and I thought I heard my name being shouted from the balcony. BINGO!
One guess people...that's right, Eric Mill, bwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhwn! With eveyone's favorite girl that is Sarah Pavis, Sarah "my last name should me 'Spavis' anyway", Pavis. Woot. I thought they were there for Lauging Wild so I thought I motiond for them to wait afterwards so I could talk to them but they came down and said hi. They were there for the play next door, something about "whitey" something about white people writing a play about black people. If you know Eric Mill you totally get it now.
Anyway that was nice. Also nice was our parking spot right fricken in front of the BCA. ALso thanks to Jackie for making us unlost and trying her best to get us tickets. (And the pizza place was very good!) BTW I went with Mary, who if given the chance would enter into a three person marriage with me and Mr. Dugrang.
She chicked out of waiting outside to get an autograph which was better in the end since parts of her car fell off on 24 South (just outside Boston) and we needed a AAA tow home. As the night gets later the tow truck drives say less and less and drive more like they want to die. But Ron, the guy we got, was awesome. He was cheery. He was funny and he reassured us that the car was fine we could fix it for almost no money blah blah blah.
Lesson Learned: Don't get your oil changed at the Mobile in Providence. (Yes I'm sure there's more than one, but I don't know which one so deal)
Last thing: This has been a very very typical blog post for me. Sorry.
