Moving On
So D-Term is good and over. It went...well it sucked. As usual. Someday I'll prolly be good at school. Anyway...
I have a little under two weeks until I start officially working on my MQP. But of course TJ and I have gotten it well underway. We did a PQP over D-Term and we have a meeting in about 6 hours with Professor Labonte to show him what we have so far. Things are looking good. We're hoping to get our mixer playing nice nice with the MIDI protocol and it looks like that might happen. Though lets not get ahead of ourselves.
So having the car around has been every bit as awesome as I thought and more. If I wanted to go to the chopper right now, I could. That is truly great. More over I don't need to rely on Mom and Dad to shuffle me and my crap home for the summer. Though paying for that next tank of gas might take the wind out of my sails.
So I'm sick. I've been sick since 10am on Monday. I really wish it would stop already. These are some of the last "free, do nothing" days I'll ever have and so far I've stayed at home all day and watched TV. Though credit is given to Eric Mill who convinced me to leave the apartment and paly some Donkey Conga with himl. And yes that means the "drummers are good at rhythym based video games" myth has been busted for a second time. See when I happen to fall into the current pattern I'm fucking dead on, but the problem is most of the patternes clash with what my drummer brain wants to do. Anyway I'm going to take what I now call an extended nap before my meeting. Less than six hours should not be called "sleep."
P.S. I just edited this thing. Why you ask? Because I'm a retard. I used the phrase "wind out of my sails" though I originally spelled "sails" this way: sales. You may know that I'm from Rhode Island. The land of sailing. I should have known better. I don't even know how to sail. Something about the wind and tacking over and ducking so I don't get hit with the cross wood thing. Errg. I hate sounding like an idiot cause I don't know what I'm talking about. Hmmm...
MOSFET. Digital Logic. Double Data Rate. Fermi Level. Characteristic Impedance. That's better.
