First post of 2005. Lets hope I start a good trend.

Right now its Monday. This means that I start C-Term at WPI in 4 days. (I'm counting today because hell, its only 8am.) Anyway. I intend for this series of posts to chronicle how I do this coming term. Maybe it will help with my motivational problem. As some of you may be aware, I'm by no means a good student, and I've run into some pretty serious academic issues at WPI. But here's to correcting them.

But since I'm not at WPI yet, I must chrionical my lead up to moving back. So.

Last night Mary and I went with her family to see Greg, her brother, perform, yet again, in Hamlet. This time it was directed by his very good friend Jeremy Funke (awesome last name, no?) at the American Repetory Theater in Cambridge, MA. I have to say it was excellent. I'm not saying this because I know Greg, and Jeremy (to much smaller extent) but because I really did enjoy his take on the show. First off it was hilarious. I'd prefere a good comedy of a trajedy most days of this week, and this show, we down right funny. Which is not to say it was a laugh fest the whole way through. It was also powerful. And very heavy on the Cathloic references.

So yes, we got into really late from that. Mary had to go to work, and I lucked out staying at home (since I'm a bum with no job, though I can't imagine I'd be working today anyway, I leave tomorrow night for WPI) What I did get stuck with is being awake to tend to the Piano tunner. Who claims the whole piano is flat, and that It'll cost us $30 more to have him raise the whole thing and then tune it. Shouldn't that be inlcuded in "piano tunning" ? I mean hell I can make the whole thing be in relative tune, the whole point of having this guy come in is because he can make it concert tuned.

Well there it is. My first post of 2005. I promise that unless there is some major event personal or national, they rest won't typically be this long. And since this isn't about any particular event, news item, or opinion, I hereby not click the allow comments button. Sorry kids. (Cause I know so many of you were simply burning up with desire to comment.)
